On November 19, 2010, junior and senior high school students, community members and bullying prevention experts participated in an interactive worldwide webcast (from Victoria School of the Arts in Edmonton, Alberta) to discuss the serious effects of bullying in schools and communities.

Sponsored by the Government of Alberta, the webcast featured a screening of scenes from the film, Stitches. Stitches explores the issue of bullying through the character of a teenager who faces ridicule and social exclusion while growing up in a small town. Nominated for an Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association Award in 2009, the film was produced by students and staff at Victoria School with funding from the government.
